Genmaicha (100g)
A blend of organic toasted brown rice and organic matcha, Nami's genmaicha offers the nostaglic flavor of brown rice tea that many of us grew up on. While genmaicha is typically a steeped tea, we've turned it into a powder! Making it perfect for a latte packed with toasty flavor.
Genmaicha can be prepared exactly the same as matcha, but we recommend using slightly more powder due to the amount of brown rice. The expected color for genmaicha is yellow-green! Best served as a latte with a touch of sweetener.
The matcha used in our genmaicha is first harvest, sourced from Shizuoka, Kagoshima and Miyazaki. It is made of Yabukita, Yutakamidori, and Saemidori cultivars.
Store genmaicha in a cool, dry place. Keep tin tightly shut and avoid exposing the matcha to sunlight for longevity!
